The final campaign for SOLEA brings together strong visuals, meaningful symbols, and practical communication tools to engage young audiences in a supportive and non-judgmental way.
King Kong is used as a symbol of strength and power, representing the ability to overcome addiction. His action of breaking a syringe visually conveys the rejection of drugs. BoJack Horseman, known for his struggles with alcoholism, illustrates the possibility of enjoying life without alcohol. The color palette and style were carefully chosen to create impact and contrast: a green background with red elements produces a dynamic and visually striking result. Hand-drawn illustrations and handwritten typography add a personal and direct touch, fostering a closer connection with the target audience.
For the flyers, a cost-effective and creative approach was used: they are designed to be printed in black on colored sheets, allowing SOLEA to reproduce them easily. Images and text were carefully half-toned for this type of printing, while Montserrat was chosen for body text due to its high readability, ensuring the message is clear and accessible.
Additionally, a dedicated Instagram account was created to share visuals, awareness messages, and engage directly with the audience. To further amplify the campaign, merchandise such as keychains and t-shirts was developed. These items are practical, attractive for young people, and help extend the reach and visibility of the campaign’s messages and visuals.
Here’s a look at how I set up my presentation to showcase the project !
